The APA Studies program’s core faculty occasionally offer graduate reading seminars in Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Studies in the Department of Anthropology or History. These courses are open to any interested students registered in a graduate program at MSU, contingent upon approval by their graduate advisor and the department and the college in which their programs are housed. These courses explore the experiences of APIDA people and communities both in the US and global contexts, and they allow students to become familiar with theory and methodology essential to the field.
