Courses

The APA Studies program offers a range of courses that explore diverse experiences of Asian Pacific Islander Desi American peoples and their historical and contemporary meanings in America and the Asian Diaspora. Students enrolled in the College of Social Sciences (CSS) take Introduction to Asian Pacific American Studies (SSC293) and Asian American History (MC/HST319) as a capstone, as well as courses about race, ethnicity, migration, Asian diaspora, and Asian studies courses, including Asian language courses. Students outside CSS take a similar series of courses to complete the minor outside the CSS.
